On March 8th, Levantina Global had the pleasure of attending the International Women’s Day Breda Internationals 2026 – Give to Gain event in Breda a gathering that beautifully captured the spirit of empowerment, generosity, and community connection.
Hosted by Breda Internationals in collaboration with Aithra, Gemeente Breda, Els Borst Netwerk, VVAO, and Soroptimist Club Breda, this 6th edition brought together an inspiring mix of internationals, locals, leaders, and changemakers. For us, it was more than an event it was a reminder of why community engagement matters deeply in our work.
A Theme That Aligns With Our Values: Give to Gain
This year’s theme, Give to Gain, resonated strongly with our mission at Levantina Global.
In international business just like in community building giving is the foundation of growth. When we share knowledge, support others, and create opportunities, we don’t lose; we multiply impact.
Throughout the event, this philosophy was reflected in every conversation, every connection, and every shared story.
Inspiration from Suzanne Laszlo
The keynote speech by Suzanne Laszlo, Executive Director of UNICEF Netherlands, was a highlight of the day. Her experience in humanitarian work and global development brought powerful insights into:
- The importance of investing in women and girls
- How empowerment creates long-term societal change
- Why generosity is a catalyst for progress
Her message echoed the essence of International Women’s Day and reinforced the importance of collective action.
Supporting Women in Need: A Community Effort
One of the most meaningful aspects of the event was the initiative to collect beauty and care products for Safegroup Breda, supporting women who are rebuilding their lives after escaping unsafe situations.
Attendees contributed items such as:
- Shampoo and conditioners
- Face creams and masks
- Makeup and personal care essentials
At Levantina Global, we were proud to participate in this effort. Small gestures can restore dignity, confidence, and hope — and we believe in supporting women not only in business, but in every aspect of their lives.
